「海外」と聞くと少しハードルが高いように感じていませんか？

「海外」は日本と全く違う環境、言語で、不安を感じている方が多いように思います。

海外にいきなり飛び出すのではなく、みなさんが安心できる日本という場所で、
海外の方と触れ合ってみませんか？

ということで！
DRIVEで今年初の海外関連イベントを開催します！

このイベントでは、海外在住・海外留学・海外旅行経験者に、それぞれが滞在した国の素敵さや楽しさをお話しいただき、参加者の方と交流する機会を設けます！

参加してくださったみなさまが、日常生活で「外国人」と話すきっかけや、海外の文化を発見し、興味が沸くようなきっかけになり、「海外」に対して身近に感じてもらえれば幸いです！

【登壇者プロフィール】
佐藤柊 Shu Sato/ファシリテーター・Facilitator

福島県福島市出身。大学進学を機に札幌に移住し、現在、札幌大学3年生で英語コミュニケーションを中心に学んでいます！幼少期から高校3年生までの約15年間、硬式テニスをやり続け、東北大会などに出場したこともありました。大学では「旅」にハマり、バックパックひとつだけを背負い、2年間で7カ国50都市以上に渡航してきました！また、「旅を若者に広める」ことをミッションにして活動する「TABIPPO学生支部」という団体に所属し、自主イベントや2,000人収容の会場での旅イベントの責任者を務めたこともありました。今年の夏にはインド横断し、その中で「海外での旅の楽しさをもっと広げたい」と感じ、今回のイベントを企画しました！

I am from Fukushima Prefecture.I am now studying at Sapporo University, focusing on English communication.I have been playing tennis hard for about 15 years and have participated in tournaments in the Tohoku region.In University, I traveled to over 50 cities in 7 countries in 2 years with just a backpack.I was a Hokkaido member of TABIPPO, an organization whose mission is “to promote travel to young people”. My role in this organization was to organize events by myself and travel events for 2,000 people.
After traveling through India this summer, I felt the need to “spread the joy of international travel! ” so I planned this event.

中野智文 Nakano Chifumi/フィンランドブース担当・Finland

フリーランスの26歳。DRIVEのコミュニティマネージャー。札幌を中心に、イベントを開催しファシリテーターをしたり、チラシのデザインなども制作しています。札幌に来る前には、愛知県にある工業高等専門学校で建築について勉強していました。フィンランドのデザインや建築に興味があったことから、18歳のときに1年間フィンランド留学を経験しています！ムーミンやMarimekkoが好きです。特にフィンランドのブルーベリーチーズケーキが大好物です！

Freelance, 26 years old.Community manager for DRIVE.I organize and facilitate events and also produce poster designs.Before coming to Sapporo, I studied architecture at a technical college in Aichi Prefecture. My interest in Finnish design and architecture led me to study abroad in Finland for a year when I was 18. I love Moomin and Marimekko. I am especially fond of Finnish blueberry cheesecake.

I am from India. I have spent 30 years in India and 30 years in the USA and now work as an engineer in Japan.

蛯名素楽 Sora Ebina/カナダブース担当・Canada

カナダのブリティッシュコロンビア州バンクーバー出身で、大学入学と同時にオンタリオ州キングストンに引っ越しました。現在はギャップイヤーを取り、札幌でマーケティング・インターンとして働いています。大学ではビジネスとマーケティングを学んでいます。学校や仕事以外では、マンガを読んだり、オーディオブックを聴いたり、ゲームをしたり、アートをしたりと、いろいろなことを楽しんでいます。また、交換留学でニュージーランドに行ったこともあります！

l am from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and I moved to Kingston, Ontario, when I entered university. Currently, I am taking a gap year and working as a marketing intern in Sapporo. Back at my university I studied business and marketing and would have been entering my fourth year. Outside of school and work, I enjoy a wide variety of things such as, reading manga, listening to audio books, playing games, and doing art. I have also done an exchange semester in New Zealand where I traveled most of the country!

ウズベキスタン・タシュケント出身。ロシア人と韓国人のハーフで、それがリーという名字に表れています。ロシア語が母国語ですが、留学のために英語を学び、現在は日本語を勉強しています！大学は、アラブ首長国連邦にあるニューヨーク大学アブダビ校に在学していました。その後、東京の「Nature」というスタートアップ企業でメカニカルエンジニアとして1年半働きました。そして今、「Borderless」という会社の共同設立者として起業の道に踏み出しました。「Borderless」では、世界中の学生の留学を支援しています！

My name is Veronica Lee, and I am from Tashkent, Uzbekistan. But I am half Russian and half Korean, which is reflected in my last name, Lee. Russian is my native language, but I learned English to pursue studies abroad, and currently, I am studying Japanese. I studied at New York University in Abu Dhabi, UAE. After that my career journey began in Tokyo at a startup named Nature, where I worked as a Mechanical Engineer for 1.5 years. Now I have ventured into entrepreneurship as a co-founder of Borderless. At Borderless, we help students study abroad all over the world.
